M1 Global is Now StarPound Technologies!

After four years in Research and Development mode, we are now ready to bring the technology of StarPound to market. To better focus our message, M1 Global Solutions is now becoming StarPound Technologies, Inc.

History of StarPound

The StarPound project grew out of a four-year, multi-million dollar project by M1 Global Solutions to build a unique platform for voice and data applications. StarPound was created as a single platform for building composite, converged applications to power the next generation of multimedia devices that run on an IP network.

After developing the platform as a commercial product (Business Convergence Suite), StarPound Technologies has moved to delivering the platform as a completely open source solution. Capitalizing on the power of open source technologies and the active open source community, StarPound is better positioned to compete with proprietary software and hardware solutions.
